Welcome to ADC Joza!

 

The Assumption Development Centre, situated in the heart of the Joza community of the Makana Municipality is a vibrant space where entrepreneurship and business skill development are promoted in a community sensitive way. The ADC, responding to the wishes and needs of the Joza community seeks to transform the economy of the community encouraging young people to explore their business ideas.

The ADC works in partnership with Rhodes University, the Makana Municipality, the Grahamstown Business Forum and the National Arts Festival, in a bid to create opportunities and support for aspirant entrepreneurs and job seekers. It currently has 350 members who benefit from workshops, courses and additional interventions.  Since 2012, 16 businesses have started up and are currently operating in affiliation with the ADC.
